Up to £12.7m worth of energy savings on the way for hospital in York

A hospital in York is on its course to achieve energy savings worth £12.7 million as well as cut carbon emissions by an impressive 45,000 tonnes over the next 15 years, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

In order to do so, the York Teaching Hospital had a combined heat and power plant (CHP) installed on the premises.
