The number of properties owned by landlords that are energy inefficient are going down. The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) reported that in December last year, 61 per cent of landlords said that they had no properties rated F or G in terms of their energy efficiency. This was a rise of 11 per cent on the year before. Analysts at ARLA say this increase in owning 'greener' rental properties could be due to upgrades of older buildings.
