Prospect Law is heading legal action for a total of 17 solar companies seeking damages over the feed-in tariff controversy. The law firm is making the claim against the Department of Energy and Climate Change following its hotly disputed cuts to solar feed-in tariffs (FIT), with the court case due to go ahead in the summer. The government last winter suddenly slashed FIT incentives for solar installations, which was later ruled illegal by the courts after a judicial review.
